Our projectsÂ range fromÂ single dwellings to large multi-use developments affected by excessive noise levels from a number of different sources; such as road and rail traffic, aircraft noise and industrial noise.
We provide assessments of environmental noise in accordance with the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), including the Noise Policy Statement for England (NPSE) and its predecessor, Planning Policy Guidance 24 (PPG24).
In addition to these requirements, our consultants provide assessments which fulfil the criteria of the World Health Organisation Guidelines, British Standard 8233:1999, British Standard 7445:1551 and British Standard 4142:2014.
Our acoustic testing team can also provide measurement, assessment and noise mitigation advice for ground borne vibration and re-radiated noise which you may encounter during your planning application.

- We undertake assessments and provide advice at the design stage
- We are able to work with the Principal Contractor to help obtain prior consent for any excess noise levels during the construction stage
- We can evaluate the acoustic performance of the development at the completion stage, in order to discharge any attached planning conditions.
