Syntegra Consulting appointed as energy assessors, BREEAM assessors, M&E design consultants and Below Grd drainage consultants for a a proposed new build development consisting of a new synagogue and 27 classroom school, in Hackney, London.

Scope included but not limited to:

1) Energy/M&E/renewable technology strategy

2) BREEAM pre-assessment (school & synagogue) -Target rating ‘very good’

3) SUDS strategy

Major refurbishment works contract – Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Thames Ditton,Surrey

Syntegra Consulting commissioned to design electrical and heating systems in Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Surrey. The development was undertaken in two phases.

Phase One: a nursery- work completed using split heat pump and upgrading electrical works.

Phase Two: Stripping out existing gas fired warm air system and replacing with a more efficient system comprising of gas fired condensing boiler controls, distributing pipe work and strategically located fan cool units. Fan cool units are designed to run at full speed at preheat periods and reduce speed during mass times.

Installation to be completed summer 2011.

AC energy assessment – YMCA, Derbyshire

Syntegra Consulting appointed building services consultants and LED lighting consultants for the Heating and Electrical services upgrade project for Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Thames Ditton, Surrey, KT7.

The appointment is for the provision of condition reports, performance specifications, tender analysis, contractor appointment and review under the JCT minor works contractual arrangement . Furthermore the appointment also includes for lighting consultancy in the provision of an LED lighting feasibility study on the premises.
