Code Level 5 house – The Crescent, Hampton-In-Arden, Solihull, B92

The Crescent is a large detached new build house to be built in Hampton in Arden. The client brief is that of high energy efficiency and sustainability aligned to meeting Code level 5 of the code for sustainable homes assessment criteria. To achieve this high level of specification a number of renewable technologies will be implemented such that the house will be 100% more energy efficient over current building regs in relation to CO2 reduction.

Syntegra Consulting have been appointed the role as Energy Consultants. The following specialist activities are under the commission:

  • SAP assessments & PEA,
  • Part L compliance checks  & On construction EPC,
  • Code for Sustainable Homes assessment
  • LZC technology feasibility study (ENE 7)
  • Surface Water Run-off consultancy and hydrologist report (SUR 1 & 2)
  • Ecology report (ECO 1-4)
  • Daylight calculations (HEA 1)
  • M & E Outline design and performance specification (lighting and control, home entertainment, small power, telecomms, remote controlled blinds/gates, security, fire alarm, smart metering, HVAC, rainwater harvesting, PV, heat pumps etc, above grd drainage, heating & LTHW)
