We beleive the property market is now picking up in terms of an increased number of properties being put onto the market for let/sale (thus requiring an EPC or HIP). Properties are now begining to move with more realistic house prices.

When are Air Conditioning Inspections(ACI) required?

ACI legislation stipulates the following:

  • New AC installations installed from 1st January 2008 must be inspected within 5 years
  • All other air-conditioning systems with an effective rated output > 250kW must be inspected by January 2009
  • Air-conditioning systems with an effective rated output > 12 kW must be inspected by January 2011
